This applet acts as an intermediary between the Netscape Navigator web browser and Aladdin Systems' SITcomm communications/terminal emulation package.

NetSIT Register registers NetSIT with Netscape as a "protocol helper" for telnet. NetSIT then accepts telnet URLs on SITcomm's behalf. Why? Because SITcomm doesn't understand the GetURL/OpenURL AppleEvents supported by many of the current Macintosh Internet applications.
